Employment Type:  Contract, Contract-Hire Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 12+ months Openings: 1 Target Start Date: 2 weeks   As a Category Technical Lead(Software Development Lead), you'll provide team leadership, including solution development, implementation and support, and be the group liaison to external Agency Partners. You'll manage large, business-critical projects from a technical, end-to-end perspective, and ensure that technical standards are being followed that comply with the overall architectural direction. You'll represent the company on key vendor relationships from a project and technical point of view. You'll work with leadership, enterprise architecture, IT partner teams and external vendors to meet solution objectives. You'll also be responsible for creating and enforcing coding standards. You'll work in a team environment where you'll be encouraged to express technical leadership and direction while communicating effectively across teams. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, with 2 years additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree - 7 years' professional IT or related experience - 2 years of experience in a technical lead role: assignment of work; code reviews; participation in key business, architectural and technical decisions - Experience estimating work effort, planning, organization and implementing complex software projects - 3 years' experience developing object-oriented, web-based business applications in a Java/J2EE 3-tier environment - Strongly prefer experience in digital creation/rendering/hosting tools like Adobe CQ5, Adobe Scene7, SAP Visual Enterprise and Adobe Creative Suite - Prefer working knowledge of XML, SOAP, Web Services, Java, .Net, JUnit, ANT, Adobe Technologies (Air, Flex, Adobe extensions etc.) relational databases (Oracle) and SQL Nice to have Skills: - Strongly prefer experience in digital creation/rendering/hosting tools like Adobe CQ5, Adobe Scene7, SAP Visual Enterprise and Adobe Creative Suite - Strong communication and presentation skills   If you are interested in this opportunity, please email me your most updated resume – aprice@vircon.com   I am always looking to network, so if you are in the market or just interested in hearing about future opportunities, please send me a current resume along with your hourly compensation requirements. http://bull.hn/l/TMT9/1"
