ABOUT THE ROLE: You will be responsible for acquiring new business by understanding customers’ financial needs and cross-selling the bank products and services, identifying prospective customers, making proactive sales calls, building and deepening relationships with existing customers for further business opportunities. The position requires the following main responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a portfolio of VIP-clients • Understand and advise on suitable financial products to existing and potential clients • Promotion and sales of wealth investment products and financial services • Develop the intermediary channels for the retail banking department • Understand and deliver deposit and loan solutions to personal as well as enterprise customers (small, medium and large) • Attend marketing activities to promote the group’s services • Handle account opening for customers and deliver excellent service • Achieve referral customers from existing clients by providing excellent service and maintaining a solid relationship THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE: • Degree holder • Between 1-3 years sales & marketing experience in Retail Banking industry • Excellent sales and presentation skills • Solid knowledge and experience in selling deposits and loans and investment products • Positive, driven, competitive, out-going personality and able to work independently as well as in a team • Ability to approach strangers and build a confidential relationship with them • Result driven and able to deliver in a timely manner whilst working in a dynamic and highly pressurized environment • Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.
