"Reporting to the Head of Facilities Services, the Fleet Manager has a company-wide responsibility for the sourcing, maintenance, performance, development and operational compliance management of the EDF Energy vehicle fleets. About the Role You will proactively build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships across EDF Energy by working closely with managers and staff to ensure that there is adequate understanding of fleet operating best practice. Be responsible for monitoring fleet operating compliance with all relevant transport, health, safety and environmental legislation. You will manage the technical and environmental development of the fleet to meet stakeholder operational requirements and EDF Energy carbon footprint targets and ambitions. You will manage the development and publication of the Company Car choice lists and determine acquisition policy and technical requirements. Manage service delivery to meet agreed service levels and key performance indicators. You will mange and influence key relationships within the business and all 3rd party vendors' relationships across the fleet. About You As an experience Transport Manager you will have a proven track record of managing operational and technical staff in a transportation management role. You will have a good financial understanding, with experience in budget preparation, financial performance and P&L management. As a leader for reviewing and creating and implementing policies, processes and procedures you will ensure that you are able react appropriately to changing situations across EDF Energy. You will have previous experience of working to a high level of health and safety standards, understanding the issues affecting operational fleet management. This role will involve a high level of relationship development and contract negotiation across internal and external stakeholders. As such, it is imperative that you have experience in influencing, negotiating and maintaining key relationships and contracts in a professional working environment. You will also hold a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for National Fleet Operations.
