"Business Analyst / facilitator / Junior Project Manager We require a Business analyst/ facilitator to work as part of a team supporting the client to migrate to a new clinical system. Role To be part of a small team of engineers, data quality facilitators and trainers supporting the client through the migration of their system. There will be some 'learning on the job' and the role will largely require you to: * Act as the primary contact throughout the upgrade process, taking responsibility for ensuring the upgrade goes as well and smoothly as possible. * Work with local team to support them to plan and manage the system migration including being on site at go-live. This may involve coordinating the work of the other team members working at the practice where necessary, to ensure the practice complete all necessary talks to make the upgrade smooth as possible. * Escalate any problems to the system suppliers or as appropriate, using appropriate systems. * Support them to manage third party /partner systems * Keep stakeholders informed * Update project documentation (update template plans, keep issue and lessons learned log up to date * Liaise with local suppliers ( CSC, EMIS and third party suppliers) Knowledge and Experience * Experience of the primary care sector of the NHS, ideally working with General Practice * Some knowledge of GP IT Systems and suppliers (not necessarily technical knowledgebut an appreciation of IM&T issues) and understanding of the working of the systems and NHS processes around them * Some knowledge of primary care data sources (ie where to check and look things up, codes, practices and so on) would be useful * Able to demonstrate understanding of Information governance issues in the NHS * Ability and confidence to work unsupervised in practices * To be able to problem solve * Personal skills-to be able to negotiate with practices and suppliers with patience and tact. * The ability to explain complex issues, and be able to explain, in a non threatening and helpful way, information that may not be what people want to hear. * Ability to manage time and plan effort * MS office skills * Ability to manage risksWe are acting as an Employment Business.
