"Our client is seeking a litigation specialist to take responsibility for contentious matters within the business. You will work as part of a large legal team but often need to work self sufficiently. Advice will need to be given on a broad range of matters including commercial claims, debt recovery, engineering disputes, employment issues and property claims (including Intellectual Property). Disputes will ideally be managed but you will need to represent the company in Civil, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. You will also need to conduct internal training. Our client is seeking a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in high profile dispute resolution from either private practice or industry. However, candidates at all levels will be considered. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in advocacy as well as drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements. You will be expected to foster active use of ADR as method of dispute resolution. The ability to work commercially and closely with internal colleagues is important. Our client is offering a responsible and varied role in a beautiful rural location, 50 minutes train ride from Kings Cross.
