"Job: HR Consultant III - PHR or SPHR Preferred in Houston, TX For consideration please email resume to vince.rainey@ugsmail.com   Job Title:                HR Consultant III Specialty: Reports to:             Director, Human Resources   LIVING OUR VALUES:  All associates are guided by Our Values.  Our Values are the unifying foundation of our companies.  We strive to ensure that every decision we make and every action we take demonstrates Our Values.  We believe that putting Our Values into practice creates lasting benefits for all of our associates, shareholders, and the communities in which we live.   Summary:  The Human Resource Consultant III under the leadership of the Director, Human Resources will support the process to provide business essential, cost effective, charge-back services to associates and business units in the Friedkin Companies (TFC).  The Consultant will 1) support the internal human resources employment, employee relations and compliance programs of the affiliated companies and local business units  2) consult with, coach and counsel managers and associates regarding processes, policies, proper business conduct, individual growth and development 3) assist them in achieving their business plans with their associates and 4) demonstrate consistent corporate commitment to the Values Statement.     Essential Responsibilities (List in order of importance)   Other duties as assigned.   1          Consult with managers and provide guidance;  coach managers regarding selection, retention, associate development, performance deficiencies, counseling, disciplinary issues, termination processes, investigations, and EEOC responses. 2          Develop, document, gain approval and distribute Policy & Procedures - Core and Operating Work Rules specific to the organization. 3          Establish Human Resource Measurements or Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s);  monitor performance, and initiate corrective actions to meet targets. 4          Demonstrate expert knowledge of Title VII, ADA and EEOC Laws to assist  the Business Unit in reaching their business goals. 5          Organizes and oversees the hiring process for the Business Unit. Makes job offer and compensation recommendations. 6          Research and analyze data pertaining to HR processes and establish tracking medium for measurement and/or compliance. 7          Will support or coordinate the implementation of local compliance programs consistent with the Values Statement and rules framework of the affiliated Companies. 8          Serves as a liaison and resource to managers, providing them with timely and informative metrics, current hiring and management approaches, and makes recommendations to meet compliance goals and minimize risk.   Develop and maintain systems for tracking and reporting such activities. 9          Plans, facilitates, and participates in team meetings. 10         Works closely with   Organizational Development, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits and remote HR teams to streamline processes, implement change, and ad... http://bull.hn/l/Y79L/2"
