"Agility Bahrain, a Global Logistics leader, is looking for a Country Finance Manager The role is client facing, requires a business orientation to problem solving and, the ability to work with cross functional teams. While this is a senior level position, they must have the ability to be “hands on” with data and statistical analysis. Job Purpose: To accurately manage, supervise and control all tasks related to the accounting function up to finalization of accounts including procurement function Key Responsibilities • Prepares annual budgets and monitors it against the actual performance • Evolves various costing patterns in order to ensure the desired level of profitability. • Ensures efficient management of receivables with an eye on outstanding amounts. • Reviews and approves payments to the suppliers within the agreed time limits. • Liaise with the bankers for credit facilities, Letter of credits and other operational matters and manage complete cash flow cycle • Manages the procurement function effectively through Vendor rating & evaluation techniques, cost effective measures, signs the LPO after reviewing the quotations and approvals • Liaise with external and internal auditors and ensure completion of audits within given timeframe in an effective manner. • Provides MIS and other financial information with analysis and comments to the Management for appropriate decision making. • Prepares Evaluates the performance of subordinates • Provides the Departmental Heads with suitable financial details for cost reduction on call. • Assist Head of Units in business planning, strategy and advises on the key financial issues • Process control and awareness of requisitions to approval to funds transfer all around. • Ensures the client requirements both internal and external are met keeping in mind the statutory obligations & international accounting standards • Motivates, guides and counsels the subordinates to ensure set targets are met. • Review reports and audits all documents periodically to ensure accuracy. • Evolves and implements systems & procedures to reduce costs. • Escalates technological applications requirements and constraints to the Management. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA and expert in MS Office / Windows / Power point and Oracle Financials. Other analytical programs is a plus Minimum 7 years of experience in the Accounting side out of which minimum 3 years in the similar capacity.
