All jobs at 7SolutionsUSA require a degree SUBMIT: For quick and more detailed review, you can submit direct to Ken@7SolutionsUSA.com Environment: Corporate Distribution Non Manufacturing Description  Responsible for setting a National Demand Planning vision to support the business needs to deliver sustained improvement in forecast bias and accuracy while improving the processes and tools to enable a more efficient and effective Integrated Business Planning monthly cycle.  Deliver the company-wide change management through clear accountability of cross functional Demand Planning objectives and deliverables. • Provide leadership to the Demand Planning function to continually improve functional capacity and the development of a highly skilled Demand Planning function. • Identify and integrate demand planning best practices. Benchmark progress against "best-in-class" consumer goods organizations. • Utilizing demand planning technologies and insights, responsible to develop and implement strategic plans and business routines to support business objectives. • Develop and maintain a common set of demand forecast drivers generating one universal forecast number that is integrated within the businesses. • Final forecast is generated by the universal systems and processes and expressed in physical units at the SKU level. • Attract, retain and develop the Demand Planning team to improve their overall skills, competencies and value. • Maintain and drive people development as a cornerstone to building a world-class demand planning function. • Create a performance-driven organization through effective objective setting, performance management, and succession planning, recruitment and retention actions. • Act as a confident and credible voice representing the Demand Planning function and taking ownership to drive business actions/results • Expected to foster a culture of continuous improvement and act as a catalyst for business improvement. • Build effective relationships and quality inputs from partners for consumption (marketing, customer (sales) and replenishment (logistics). • Establish appropriate metrics for National Demand Planning and ensure consistent best practices and procedures are applied. • Drive for continuous improvement and adoption of best practice forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches. • Provide leadership and manage the transition and implementation of new demand planning systems and processes. Requirements • College degree, MBA preferred • 10 year’s experience leading a demand planning function • Experience implementing a high performance demand planning program • Prior experience managing and executing in a CPG business, working in a company with high SKU count - ~30k SKUs, multiple new products launches with high product complexity. • Ability to influence and facilitate cross functional teams. • Successful experience managing and executing process changes and initiatives. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hard driving culture with a lean structure, demonstrated ability to succeed in and drive a culture of performance. • Strong analytical skills. • Disciplined about process execution and compliance. • Knowledge of Logility a plus • Good understanding of business drivers and end-to-end supply chain dynamics. • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills"
