Manufacturing Process Technology will lead the worldwide business effort in the development of efficient and technological appropriate manufacturing processes related to the introduction of new products and major process improvements. The position recruits, develops, and maintains a high performance technical organization to support product and process development programs. • Provides Technical and administrative leadership for the Manufacturing Process Technology Group. • Establishes the strategic direction for the Technology Applications support of objectives to exceed customer and shareholder expectations by providing safe, cost effective and innovative products and services.• • Responsible for initiating programs that work against the 3-5 year Operations agenda as contained in the Company Operations Strategy. • Identifies new and innovative Manufacturing Process Technology opportunities. • Serves as champion for the opportunities within the organization through teamwork and partnerships with customers, suppliers and key manufacturers. • As appropriate, provides leadership or supporting roles on major projects. • • Develops and maintains a “Technology Sensing” capability to ensure state-of-the-art manufacturing technology is investigated on a timely basis. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 10-years’ experience in the design, development, and commercialization of complex automation systems for high speed manufacturing / assembly operations. • Thorough knowledge of direct cost systems, quality control, management principles and practices, manufacturing processes, equipment and scheduling, employee relations, purchasing, and inventory control methods. • Should come out of an advanced manufacturing environment such as automotive, electronics, where the latest technology in automation is being utilized. • Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills essential with the ability to create change / empower people,"
