"Looking for a Mobile Applications Developer in Washington, DC JOB SUMMARY: Develops mobile device applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Performs full life cycle design, development, and deployment of new software applications, new features, and the correction of defects. Provides ongoing support and maintenance of developed applications. Designs, develops, and maintains relational database reports. Performs quality assurance role for application features developed by others. Prepares appropriate design and deployment artifacts per the standard development methodology. Job Responsibilities: Performs full life cycle design, development, and deployment of mobile device applications, new features, and the correction of defects utilizing development methodology and standard development tools. Engages in the implementation of technology best practices where possible, fosters innovation and learning through sharing design ideas and mentoring team members, and continues to develop healthcare industry subject matter expertise. Designs, develops, and maintains mobile device applications to support customer requirements. Contributes application concepts for development consideration. Consults with internal clients to define requirements. Participates in review process for new or modified applications. Consults with outside developers and the CC Mobile App Governance Committee as needed. Performs quality assurance role for application features developed by others including preparing and executing test plans, logging defects, and retesting corrected defects to validate feature integrity, accuracy, and completeness prior to customer deployment. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, a related discipline or equivalent professional experience. Licensure/Certifications are preferred in standard development and database tools. Experience: Must demonstrate knowledge in design methodologies such as entity relationship diagrams and object models as well as skills in listening to customer requirements and architecting a design solution tied to those requirements. Minimum three years of experience in the full life cycle of developing software applications using standard development tools including current development environments and computer application software such as iOS SDK, Xcode, Objective-C, HTML-5, Java, CSS, Android SDK, and publishing to iOS App Store and Google Play App Store.
