We have a great opportunity for an experienced B2B Market Manager to join our North America Wood Coatings team in High Point, NC. The Wood Coatings division manufactures technology leading coatings for the global furniture, cabinetry, flooring, building products, and distribution markets. This role will report to the Marketing Director and requires an experienced, dynamic and high energy individual to be responsible for the marketing efforts for our Building Products market segment including product management, project management, customer profitability analysis and pricing analysis/management. Specific responsibilities include: Initiate and lead actions that will enable the business segment to achieve both the top and bottom line budget goals. Lead voice of the customer market research and analysis. Work closely with R&D to develop new innovative products that meet the market needs. Work closely with the sales team in new business opportunity analysis and RFP preparation. Support new business commercialization. Provide actionable market analysis and research, including the creation and maintenance of market share databases for major product segments. Collect, analyze and provide competitive analysis to the senior leadership and sales teams. Develop and execute marketing communication materials and collateral. Works closely with sales leadership on contract negotiations. Will take the lead on contract preparation and coordinating contracts through sales, business management, finance and legal. Manages implementation and tracks performance against contracts. Qualifications: Education Level: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA in Marketing required.. Years Relevant Experience: Minimum of 7 years work experience, with proven track record of success. Travel Required: 25%. Required 2nd Language: None. Must have experience with market landscape development, competitive assessment, value proposition development, product management, and pricing. Marketing communications knowledge a plus. Strong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate and influence up/down and across functional areas internally. Ability and desire to interact with customers.
