View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/qgX2wf Job Description: We are seeking a Managing Director whose main responsibilities will include creating and/or overseeing detailed valuation models; preparing presentations which outline the strategic rationale for acquisitions, divestitures, and investments; coordinating and administering due diligence and reverse due diligence efforts; and tracking and reporting of acquisitions and strategic investments. In a typical acquisition transaction this person will also work with appropriate business unit management and finance representatives to agree upon valuation assumptions and finalize a 3-year operating budget. The position may involve some strategic work and /or benchmarking studies. These projects will entail: · Interfacing with senior enterprise leadership to ascertain strategic goals · Negotiation of agreements with counterparties · Creation of detailed due diligence requests · Preparing or overseeing the preparation of detailed valuation models · Preparing presentations which outline the strategic rationale for transactions · Leading & Coordinating and administering due diligence and reverse due diligence efforts · Coordinating communications among project team, senior Schwab management, external advisors and counterparties. · Management of at least one direct report (manager / analyst level) Qualifications: -Excellent business judgment -Ability to understand business-related legal documents -Quantitative background, including thorough knowledge of finance and financial theory -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Project management skills -Excel and PowerPoint skills -Prior corporate development, investment banking, or other M&A or venture capital transaction experience (3-5 years or equivalent work experience) -Can stay organized and maintain attention to detail in rapidly changing environment -MBA required -Prior Management experience -Prior contract negotiation experience"
