Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Network Engineer Needed in Charlottesville, VA (Permanent Position Jaime Storrs posted a job: Network Engineer Needed in Charlottesville, VA (Permanent Position "Our client is looking for a permanent Senior Network Engineer responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of all mid-size network infrastructure systems that support and protect business functions.  The position activities range from high level network infrastructure design through detailed implementation, management, monitoring, and optimization.  In addition, the Senior Network Engineer exercises project management skills to oversee a portfolio of solutions having a heavy technology focus. - Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Minimum 5-7 years experience in network maintenance and monitoring with minimum 2-3 years experience in LAN/WAN design. - Demonstrated knowledge in Cisco Enterprise-class switches/routers, hardware load balancing technology, protocol optimization, network management systems, VPN implementations, and network security required. - Working competency with Microsoft Operations Manager, Solar Winds network management and, Packeteer optimization tools highly desired. - Familiarity with remote control access solutions (Terminal Server, Virtual - Desktop or Citrix) desired. - Experience with IT Service Management concepts, processes and integrated service management systems is important to success in our evolving service oriented IT culture. - Applied experience with operations and management best practices for converged local and global MPLS networks supporting voice, data and video - Fluency in English required; multilingual would be useful If interested, please forward your resume to Liz Marshall: RecruitEM@PrecisionSystems.com"
