Title: Programmer Analyst with C#, ASP.NET, Dot.NET, SQL Server Location: New York, NY Number of Positions: 2 Type: Contract Salary: Market Duration: 3 Years Plus Job ID: 1460G-001PA Job Description POSITION 1 Tasks & Duties: - Build the EDU-OLR SQL Server database - Conversion of data from Access tables to SQL Server tables - Design, code and implement the EDU-OLR ASP.Net application - Create Reports for the EDU-OLR System - Build a web service to import PMS and other Organizational data to support EDU - Create User manuals and training documents Required Technical Skills: - 2 years experience using Microsoft dot NET Framework 2.0, 3.5 ASP.NET, and C#.NET 3.5. - 2 Years experience using Microsoft Reporting services. - 2 Years experience using SQL Server 2005, 2008. Desirable Technical Experience: - 2 years experience or familiarity with data elements associated with NYC Payroll Management System (PMS). - 2 years experience or familiarity with NYC Automated Personnel system (NYCAPS). POSITION 2 Tasks & Duties: - Perform system analysis of user specifications. - Develop software code consistent with business rules. - Modify database, stored procedures, data transformation packages, and scheduled jobs as necessary. - Test systems changes to guarantee accuracy with user requirements. - Maintain application to ensure stability and peak performance. Required Technical Skills: - 4 years development experience in C# Dot.Net. - 2 Years experience using MS SQL Server, version 2000 or newer, and stored procedures. - 2 Years strong understanding of web servers (IIS), application servers, and other elements of an internet/intranet infrastructure. Desirable Technical Experience: - 2 years experience in designing, coding and implementation of complex web based software utilizing the Microsoft Dot Net platform. - 2 years experience in designing and implementation of complex stored procedures written in Microsoft SQL while ensuring that the procedure code is efficient. - 2 years experience in reviewing requirements, analyzing the impact of the requirements on development. - 2 years experience participating in the development and preparation of documentation, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation.
