The IT Manager will be responsible to plan, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the IT department, prepare and administer the annual IT operating and capex budgets and develop and implement technology initiatives within the organization. The key tasks of the IT Manager will be to: Develop and implement an IT strategy in support of the company’s mission and objectives Develop an IT business plan and operating and capex budgets and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that targets are met Lead the selection, approval and management of all vendors Negotiate Service Level Agreements with both internal and external customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure agreed targets and standards are met Design, develop, implement, monitor and control IT Policies and procedures in line with international standards ensuring applicability to the business environment Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analysis for technology spending and initiatives Periodically evaluate overall operations of the IT function and recommend enhancements Research and evaluate new technologies and define requirements for implementation Requirements: Post graduate in IT/Systems with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably with IT Service providers Proven IT management experience with a track record of driving and defining complex IT strategy Experience of managing multi-AED million budgets in and managing multiple IT disciplines, i.e. software development, technical support, systems architecture etc Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage third party contracts and performance The candidate must be currently based in Dubai.
