"BASIC FUNCTION Responsible for managing specific brand/category projects from inception via Creative Briefs through completion of approved mechanical art for both packaging and displays. MAJOR DUTIES (Attach Additional Pages As Needed) • On assigned categories, act as a liaison for Creative to all Creative Agencies, Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Package Development, Program Management and Operations, facilitating the flow of information and decision-making to achieve art release dates. • Continual relationship-building with “client department” (e.g., Program Management, UK & Canadian Teams) to gain a deep understanding of specific guidelines, timelines, and context. • Participate in weekly project/artwork production reviews and input/output meetings to create and determine feasibility of timetables and monitoring progress. • Works closely with vendor Account Managers, helping them prioritize workload on a daily basis; ensuring materials are delivered and prepared in a timely and cost-effective manner. • Communicate and problem solve on issues and roadblocks that jeopardize timeline to cross-functional groups and Creative group/agency. • Provide expert level training to new hires and support for “Blue” creative project management application • Provide weekly art updates via the Weekly Artwork Alerts Report. • Develop monthly upcoming brief report to provide Marketing with this information. • Attend and participate in Taskforce meetings. Provide updates to cross-functional team for mechanical art in progress. • Brainstorm and develop new processes to improve the effectiveness of daily project activity. (e.g. process and procedures for internal and external groups, new member training, Briefing forms, etc.). • Maintain artwork workflows (in paper and in BLUE). KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Describe • Organization and Leadership skills. • Process person with a proactive attitude. • Possessing a sense of urgency and manage stressful situations. • Ability to facilitate in making key decisions. • Ability to persuade and troubleshoot. • Having strong communication skills both oral and written. • Ability to interact with all levels of management. Minimum Education Required College degree preferred, with prior experience in editorials at magazines, or account manager in advertising useful. Graphic design or project management experience a plus."
