Work with a world-class team to meet users' needs by developing innovative solutions & bringing them to market. Directly contribute to client's mission to Alleviate Pain, Restore Health, & Extend Life by being on the leading edge to bring closed-loop control to insulin-dependent diabetics across the world. Responsibilities: This role will is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining and evolving the Win CE board support package for Client's state-of-the-art patch insulin pump system & secondarily to support either the C# application development or the embedded C development team. .Creates and maintain software requirements for a project. ~10% of time .Develops very solid designs with extensive use of common design constructs and patterns utilizing best practices. ~10% of time .Collaborates and coordinates with external subcontractors. ~10% of time .Responsible for delivery of high quality code. ~40% of time .Independently writes & executes comprehensive unit and integration testing. ~20% of time .Addresses defects & observations providing solutions that are maintainable, factor in a system wide perspective & do not introduce new defects. ~10% of time Behavior Characteristics: .Experience working with off-shore teams .Desire to collaboratively work in project teams on high profile projects .Excellent oral and written communication skills Required/Desired skills: "Productively interface with teams & Provide Team Leadership "Develop module/unit/"white box" tests of firmware or software code "Develop functional tests for embedded real-time firmware "Develop functional tests for software running under a disk-based operating system "Develop functional tests of Graphical User Interfaces "Generate test cases based on requirements (or usage scenarios)"Develop automated tests driven by a script or software program "Develop and document manual tests "Execute tests and analyze test results "Review tests and test results. "Document and resolve issues "Write &/or review plans, specifications & reports that comply with defined practices & protocols. Qualifications: "BSEE, BSCS,/ BS Biomedical Engineering "Minimum 2 yrs developing Win CE board support packages "Minimum 3 yrs of either . Developing C# multi-tasking applications or Embedded C applications on processors such as ARM7, TI MSP430 or TI CC2430 "Minimum 5 yrs of progressive experience in the design of software components & systems and, if C# background, usage of design patterns and object-oriented design principles "Minimum 3 yrs exp and demonstrated understanding in design of multitasking or complex systems "Minimum 1 yrs of exp with requirements management system such as Requisite Pro or DOORS "Minimum 1 yrs exp documenting software designs using tools such as VISIO or Enterprise Architect Preferred Qualifications "MSEE, MSCS, or MS Biomedical Engineering "5 years experience in Win CE BSP development preferred "Experience programming in C# in .NET 3.5 Compact Framework for a WinCE 6.0 platform "Ability to read a board schematic "Experience in interfacing with EE engineers "Experience in development of medical device software or other regulated software 'Experience in developing software for infusion pumps "Knowledge and appreciation of IEC 62304 "Experience with UML design & documentation "Experience using DOORS, Enterprise Architect, Surround, Visual Studio 2008 "Experience developing systems using TI 2430 transceiver using TI MAC "Familiarity with IEEE 802.15 wireless standard For further details please contact: Lina e-Mail:lina@tansoncorp.com"
