Look at our website for more information: CouchSurfingJobs.com Currently we are looking for: PHP DEVELOPERS (multiple persons/fulltime) PURPOSE To turn ideas into reality by translating well defined design specifications and wire-frames into software architecture, web applications, and online tools. RESPONSIBILITIES * Developing new PHP code * Debugging, optimizing, and updating existing PHP code * Interpreting design specifications, functional requirements, and wire-frames * Creating consistent code documentation MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS * Fluent programing in PHP * Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks (Kohana, Zend, similar) * Fluency with code & repositories, and versioning tools (SVN, git, or similar) * Fluency with Apache and setting up a local dev-server * Strong knowledge of MySQL * Experience with XHTML, CSS, & JavaScript frameworks MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION * Bachelor's Degree in Science strongly preferred * 3+ years professional experience developing in PHP * 1+ years professional experience architecting entire applications SUPPLEMENTAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Experience with High availability environments * Experience with Caching strategies with Memcached * Familiarity with Sphinx or similar * Familiarity with application profiling tools such as Xdebug, Xhprof, or similar HOURS WE PROVIDE * 40 hours (Full time) APPLICATION * To apply follow this link: CouchSurfingJobs.com"
