Responsibilities: Responsible for the development of firmware and applications using C/C++ programming languages. Individual is required to work with a minimum of supervision towards a stated goal.  1. Participate in software and applications development projects. 2. Maintain and support existing software. 3. Develop Unit and Acceptance Tests, and assist in documenting clear, concise and thorough test procedures to support verification that the software satisfies all product requirements. 4. Create and maintain project schedules and report on project status, activities and issues. 5. Ensure software developed satisfies Zebra's quality standards, and is implemented in a timely and cost effective manner. 6. Interface with customers, other engineers, Sales and Marketing to understand project/customer requirements and translate these into solutions. 7. Partner with Purchasing, Quality, Service and Manufacturing organizations to ensure that Zebra products are delivered and maintained to the highest standards possible. 8. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering required. Master's preferred.
