"Our Client is an international industrial company with more than 10.000 employees and leader in its branch. For its headquarter in Berlin we are looking for a fulltime Project Manager IT-Infrastructure - Client Management. Responsibilities: 1. Managing the standard images deployed with all laptops: - Road-map planning for applications - Run user acceptance testing for new builds - Manage supplier(s) during build and test process - Align with the applications team and architecture 2. Software distribution: - Road-map planning for distributed applications in cooperation with the applications team - Manage supplier(s) for packaging and testing - Manage supplier(s) for distribution and patch management 3. Active Directory: - Technical subject matter expert for Active Directory setup and the definition to optimize GPOs and domain structure 4. Virtualisation: - Technical subject matter expert for application virtualisation - Technical subject matter expert for desktop virtualisation - Application roadmap for virtual image and virtual applications (in alignment with application team) Qualifications: - Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification - 5 years of professional experience working in a relevant IT field - Fundamental understanding of ITIL processes and operational procedures - Technical infrastructure skills and subject matter knowledge across multiple disciplines (Windows XP/7, Active Directory, Deployment Methodology, Project Management, IT governance KPI/SLA/SLO, Software Distribution). - Ability to roadmap and plan for end of life transitioning of hardware and standard operating environments - Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques and tools for the management and monitoring of budgets to minimize costs and ensure cost-effectiveness - Fluent in spoken and written English.
