"Hiring a Control Systems Engineer – Fuel Cell #18904 in Long Beach, CA #18904 Control Systems Engineer – Fuel Cell Location: Long Beach, CA Job Opportunity: The design and development of control system software for fuel cell systems and sub-system components. Responsibilities: - The candidate will be expected to contribute to the design of control systems for Hydrogen Fuel Cell System and associated components. The design and implementation will adhere to the product lifecycle process using typical practices like requirements capture, documentation, version control, configuration management, test and validation. - Control software is written using Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow as a graphical programming language. This is autocoded into C and then flashed onto embedded platforms (eg MPC565). A strong background in Simulink development for embedded targets is therefore essential. - Development of hardware test applications and driver interface test harnesses. - Liaise with several company departments, customer’s representatives and vendors in order to meet all contractual and specification requirements and to co-ordinate project activities. - Prepare all required project documentation following the product lifecycle.
