"DIRECTOR OF WAREHOUSING in Irvine, CA DIRECTOR OF WAREHOUSING The Search Group is currently seeking a Director of Warehousing and Reverse Logistics for a leading and growing Orange County firm.   The qualified Director of Warehousing will be will be responsible for customers and internal departments and strategize, advise, and direct toward future service systems and technologies. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the reverse logistics department and works with technical support and customer service leadership to ensure coordination of reverse logistics support. Additionally, this position works closely with accounting to ensure we are charging ODM's retail partners as our reverse logistics policies dictate. The position will be responsible for advancing the current reverse logistics programs, increasing service to our customers, decreasing costs and process improvement. This person is also responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting on reverse logistics performance, coordinating defect reporting between the 3PSP's, ODM's, and the company?s internal product team. Responsible for designing and implementing improved processes and operational policies. Partners with and works alongside Director of Logistics - Outbound and Inbound. Responsible for designing and implementing improved processes and operational policies. Additionally, the Director of Warehousing is responsible for: * Developing and installing procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization * Maintaining an active relationship with other functional areas to assure that the organization is providing appropriate service levels to sales customers * Manage third party service providers; evaluate performance and quality, create bids, capacity planning and hold 3PSP's accountable to timeliness and accuracy * Work with ODM's to ensure timely and accurate defect reporting is provided. * Inspect 3PSP's to ensure recertification work meets specifications. * Review performance reports to ensure specified turnaround times are met. * Manage the reseller support team in the Dakota Dunes office. * Inspect return policies and ensure coordination with Sales for each retailer. * Review discrepancy reports to ensure retail returns are denied when necessary. * Work with internal quality team and product team to ensure we are feeding back potential quality issues. * Pulling, processing, and reviewing daily reports as necessary * Implementing policies, procedures and strategic plan that align with department and corporate goals. * Developing and maintaining SOP's for the Reverse Logistics department. * Coordinate buffer inventory with all ODM's to ensure support has the units needed for RMA purposes. * Improving the collection, reporting and distribution of returns data. * Managing all aspects of employee relations to include but not limited to employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, complaints, time off, training and development. * Travel to 3PSP's frequently for auditing and process improvement. * Planning production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for implementing system improvements * Managing operational schedules and coordinating shipping activities to ensure production and quality of accuracy meets specifications * Reviewing shipment and operating reports; resolving operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays * D... http://bull.hn/l/G8E2/1"
