Please send your resume to talislama@yahoo.com "Job: Team Leader- Tier 3 support (Sunnyvale, CA) in Sunnyvale, CA One of my client is looking for an experienced Team leader with previous experience as a  Support Engineer and  in the datacenter and networking area. This person Will be in charge of presenting product focused instruction on core applications and add-on products, to classes of 6-15 students (of varying backgrounds and abilities). Training courses vary in length from 2 to 5 days in length and include both lecture and hands-on practice. Trainers must be prepared to travel 25 to 50%, as courses may be presented at corporate training center or at client sites.  Job description: Candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to perform the duties below. Manage a small team of Support Engineers  Provide 3rd level support to the company’s customers. Installing products and supporting systems. Deliver lecture based and hands-on training courses; and informal ad-hoc training sessions for customers or partners (resellers, distributors, and OEMs) on the company SW and HW products. Problem reporting, escalation, replication, and resolution management Respond to customer technical inquiries Site visits and conference calls with the company customers and partners Building internal processes to improve support efficiently and productivity Present technical solutions to a wide variety of audiences including engineers and business managers. Develop comprehensive solutions to customer problems including project management of complex installations Skills: Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience with network equipment and network protocols including IP, L2, L3 protocols- MUST Experience with operating and configuring major vendor’s networks equipment such as: switches and routers Solid knowledge of Linux -MUST Ethernet ( 10 GegE)- MUST Previous experience in providing support to SW and HW products - MUST Clustering technologies including Upper Layer Protocols (ex. MPI)- Advantage VMware knowledge- Advantage Previous managerial experience - Must Excellent communication and presentation skills Organized and ability to prioritize and multi-task easily with limited supervision.   Good oral and writing skills Travel required up to 50%  Education: 3-5 years’ experience in the computer industry (some HPC industry experience highly desirable) in a hands-on technical position.
