This hands-on Lead Developer position provides technical expertise in financial systems design, development and implementation. Demonstrates strong analytical, communications and mentoring skills. Responsible for the analysis of project requirements and the development of technical specifications. May perform the role of Project Coordinator for projects with limited scope/duration (i.e., less than 12 months in duration). Has experience with all phases of application programming. Has demonstrated knowledge in the software implementation lifecycle (SILC) and J2EE applications development. Successful candidate will possess 8+ years overall IT experience with expertise in Java and J2EE (JEE) technologies in large enterprise environments. Experience with Websphere/WSAD, or other application servers, are required along with strong SQL and RDBMSs (prefer DB2) experience. Experience should also include development experience using Javascript, HTML, JSP, SuiredQL, SQLJ, JDBC, MQ Series, JMS, XML and XSL. Knowledge of mainframe COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, Scheduler and DB2 Stored Procedures is a plus.
