Multiple Positions: Job Type:  Permanent Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Murex Developer Role 1 overview: Knowledge of Murex  3.1 2-3 year MxML development experience including: Up and downstream system integration Designing, developing and supporting Contract and Exchange workflows Messaging awareness and configuration experience Full development lifecycle experience Experience of Supporting MxML Exchange deployments and trouble shooting in UAT & Production environments. Related: (nice to haves) Java or similar experience Pre-trade experience Performance Tuning Murex Developer Role 2 overview: Knowledge of Murex 3.1 2-3 year MxML development experience including: Experience of creating and amending feeders in Murex Experience of creating and amending reports in Murex Knowledge of the Core Murex database. Batch support Experience Solid SQL skills (Sybase or Oracle) Solid Unix skills (Shell scripting) Autosys or Control-m or similar scheduler exposure Related: (nice to haves) Perl Performance testing & tuning. Murex Technical Analyst Role 3 3+ years in Murex v3.1 in Front office, Risk support Extensive experience in e-tradepad, generators, Simulations, pricing, reporting, P&L, settlements, wrokflows, configuration etc Expert in either FO Experience working with Traders, Sales, Risk, Ops, Product Control teams on the Trading floor Extensive experience working with IRD, FX/MM, FX Derivatives Commodities, Inflation. Aware of Murex Trouble shooting techniques, Support SLA's etc. Excellent Communication skills and ability to multitask in a high pressure Trading environment Supports users with the day-to-day use of the Murex application. Frames issues, logs user requests and executes first prioritization of issues in the incident management database. Acts as a central point of contact for any issues related to the Murex platform. Escalates critical incidents and identifies patterns in recurring incidents. Gathers business requirements from users and supports the development of formal specifications through the second line function issues. Assists in specification of functional business requirements for reporting Supports and promotes the optimal use of the application acting as a “local expert”. Provides functional Murex training on an informal basis. Supports on: trade input valuation, STP, simulation screens, analytics and calculations, curve construction, back office functionality, accounting module etc. Supports market risk reporting, P/L reporting explanation / decomposition / attribution, pricing and VaR module. Develops and maintains documentation specific to client instances of Murex. Products: Interest rate derivatives (vanilla and exotic), cash FX and money markets, commodities, FX derivatives and inflation products.
