Job Description The Role: Reporting to Europe, you will be responsible for the North American market to: Drive and develop strategic business initiatives, laboratory operations, marketing, account management, pricing, acquisitions and P&L for the group Manage a direct team of 5 in sales & operations and total headcount of 300 + based in laboratories Achieve aggressive revenue objectives and identify new opportunities for growth Advise and recommending European HQ on strategic and technical direction for present and future business development (including acquisitions). Assure appropriate staffing levels are maintained as the organization grows and employees are qualified and properly trained and developed. Job Qualifications The Requirements: 10 -15 + years of management experience in Life Science services ( Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device) BS Degree in Science / Chemistry and MBA preferred. Commercial minded, entrepreneurial with full P&L responsibility and demonstrated success to aggressively grow a business (acquisition experience a plus). Ability to coordinate and motivate teams toward a common goal while holding self and others accountable for delivery of objectives. Capability to translate strategy into pragmatic action plans and disseminate information for execution at all levels. Ability to interact with clients and proactively identify opportunities for growth and increased level of service. Initiative in seeking new solutions, tenacity to act decisively and make tough decisions, and the drive to focus on continuous improvement.
