"Job Summary: This position provides IT project management services for business unit and/or company-wide initiative(s) with accountability for medium to large-scale matrixed projects of moderate or medium complexity and are considered medium to high risk overall. Project durations will vary but generally could last 1-18 months. Manages multiple projects at a time with little to no supervision. Responsible for detailed planning through implementation, applying standard project management methodologies to manage scope, budget, and timing. May participate in visioning process developing budget and scope as assigned. Serves as IT lead on large-scale projects. This position may oversee the work of project support associates and provides mentoring support and team leadership of the project team. Responsibilities: 1. Develops and manages moderately complex project plans and budgets/financial data and resource needs. 2. Manages conflicting priorities with other projects and matrixed team members to ensure project success. 3. Prioritizes and influences team members, senior leaders and projects sponsor(s) to successfully execute on plan. Interfaces regularly with leadership up to the VP level. 4. With leadership guidance, evaluates and solves difficult problems that impact the overall success of the assigned project (s). 5. Synthesizes disparate observations and data to create conclusions and make recommendations for project sponsor and/or leadership. 6. Develops and communicates expectations and success measures with team and partners. 7. Monitors process, progress and results against success measures. 8. Communicates both orally and in written forms (formal and informal), with project team and partners. 9. May supervise lower level project support associates. 10. Special projects and other duties as assigned. 11. Operate in a highly technical environment 12. Must have the ability to quickly and effectively execute 13. Consults with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions. Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience 2. 5-7 years in a project environment, or relevant business experience 1. Successful demonstration of skills and abilities at the PM (professional practitioner) level will be considered for internal progression/promotion even if the years of experience are not met. 3. Ability to be adaptive and successfully maneuver within complex technology system organizations 4. Experience leading projects within and IT Project Management Organization 5. Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio 6. Must have a strong working knowledge of the SDLC and how it relates to the project lifecycle method 7. Working knowledge of Project planning/management; able to develop and manage project plans; identify and secure needed resources; escalate conflicting priorities with other projects and matrixed team members; influence team members to successfully execute on plan 8.
