The company delivers a compelling mix of entertainment, broadcasting, music & informational content. You will be joining part of the company's digital distribution division (covering Film, Music and Video) and will be based in West Central London. The role is offered on a permanent basis + excellent corporate benefits. You will interpret complex designs, documentation and the underlying data model of existing systems, developing data-centric applications using C# /.NET. You will develop queries and stored procedures involving complex database structures, reviewing the requirements, assessing the work effort, participating in projects through various phases. The role holder will take ownership of the deployment of Microsoft server solutions, in-house bespoke applications and create unit test plans for development unit testing. You will need to document new developments, procedures or plans as needed, providing technical leadership for bespoke development projects. To be considered for this position will need to have demonstrable experience with software development using Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET, C# and VB.NET. You will need experience with application technologies including Web Services, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML etc coupled with some experience in Microsoft windows server technology and IIS. In addition you will have excellent communication skills, work well in a team, enjoy solving complex problems and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Any candidates with experience within digital media, broadcasting or entertainment sectors are highly desirable but this is not essential.
