For our Business located in Raunheim, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager (m/w) Job Purpose The Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for driving strategic and tactical Quality initiatives while working directly with internal / external customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies. This person has the responsibility to identify opportunities and provide leadership to make Quality a competitive advantage for the Raunheim site and its customers. Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate all aspects of R&O Quality Assurance including maintenance all regulatory approvals. • Ensure the Quality Management System is approved, maintained, understood and executed by associates, with special emphasis on product and processes in accordance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA Part 145), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA 145), including AS9100, Customer or any other regulatory requirements as necessary. • Act as a change agent promoting and utilizing enablers such as Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS), lean/six sigma, to identify best practices and drive continuous Quality improvement throughout the organisation. • Responsible for developing and executing the Quality AOP and has direct responsibility for the departmental spend and managing budget. • Accountable for implementing and proper execution of the internal and external audit program to measure the overall effectiveness of the Quality management system. • Management of Quality / Technical / Regulatory training for all R&O associates in compliance with Honeywell, Customer and Regulatory requirements. • Responsible for the management and reporting of the Non Compliance system including Scrap, Rework, First Pass Yield, Internal / external Escapes and the eCATS System. • Review contractual documents to ensure compliance to Honeywell, Customer, EASA / FAA / or other regulatory requirements. • Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to prevent defects and process non compliance. • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, R&O product lines resolving Quality related issues and driving root cause/corrective actions to prevent recurrence through eCats. • Identify and execute projects leading to standardisation, simplifying and improving existing Quality processes ensuring compliance with Honeywell AERO requirements. • Promote and support Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) program and philosophy as part of the Leadership Team. Experience/Qualifications Required • A production, engineering (bachelor degree) • Experience of working within the aerospace industry with a proven track record of understanding the processes, engineering and regulations. • The ability to work in a process driven environment with a pragmatic way of working. • Excellent communications skills and able to work across a variety of functions dealing with different levels of people along the way. • Experience of using process improvement tools and understanding these with the ability to demonstrate the skills at interview. • The ability to challenge the status quo • To be a change agent • Motivational and inspirational leader INTERESTED?
