For our manufacturing facility in Bonn, we are currently recruiting a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist (m/f) You will be responsible for providing outstanding technical support of our Sensoric range of electrochemical gas sensors for our internal and external customers, as well as supporting the regional sales office on growth opportunities. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide technical support principally of our Sensoric product portfolio, as well as our City Technology and Sixth Sense portfolios, to our customers and channel partners. Assisting in product integration activities into the customers’ products, as well as addressing ancillary technical questions. • Arrange and conduct laboratory experiments, under the guidance of the R&D Engineering Manager • Develop training material and provide basic training to customers on the gas sensing technologies and the use of our products. • Identify and communicate technical issues, and work with cross functions to assist in rapid resolution and advice to customers. • Work with customers to identify the correct product for the application and provide relevant technical literature and assistance. • Maintain proactive contact with customers on the features and capabilities of our products. • Manage product samples to customers, proactively reporting the progress of tests and validation work to key stakeholders. • Manage custom label, Skanban requests with the assistance of cross functional teams, to drive completion on time. • Identify and advise Sales Managers on new business opportunities YOUR PROFILE: • BS in Chemistry with emphasis on inorganic chemistry • 3 years experience in gas sensing/ relevant high-tech industry • Knowledge and experience in electrochemical sensor technology • Experience within a technical support role/ability to perform duties to the same level • Experience in gas sensing industry an advantage • Knowledge and experience of gas sensing technologies and regulatory bodies • Ability to communicate technical information effectively • Ability to interface with customers, sales and technical resource personnel • Excellent analytical & problem solving capabilities • Fluent in German and English • Good skills in MS office, CRM and SAP tools. • Understanding of Six Sigma, ISO9001, ISO1401, RoHs and WEEE systems and directives desirable INTERESTED?
