View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/niXZQS Job Description: The person in this position will work very closely with the Chairman and CEO, who is recognized as a leading entrepreneur in the field of education. The role combines strategy, project management, Board of Director relations and senior staff coordination. The focus of the role is to help coordinate and improve management processes to enhance the CEO’s impact and work on key high profile special projects. This position offers an unique opportunity to learn the business and prepare for a leadership assignment within one to two years. Responsibilities •Prepare Board meeting content and logistics •Act as project manager and advisor for key projects for the CEO (e.g. operating metrics / global dashboard, greenfield university strategy, M&A and integration, etc.). •Work toward more effective senior executive and committee meetings (prepare, facilitate, synthesize and follow-up) and set and manage the corporate calendar. •Represent CEO opinion in preparation and execution of key events. •Manage the CEO support team and introduce new process and tools to increase efficiency •Facilitate preparation of presentations, speeches and written communications. •Evolve into “stand-in” (for CEO) for certain purposes. •Adopt and promote firm culture; span boundaries and attempt to bridge gaps. Qualifications: •MBA with 8 to 12 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Entrepreneurship, and/or Private Equity. •Proven leader and self-starter with a strong desire to run a business •Very flexible and mobile / able to travel extensively (75 -85%, much international). •Multi-lingual / multi-cultural. Experience living in multiple countries – knowledge of global business. •Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written. •Strong critical thinking and analytical skills along with an entrepreneurial spirit. •Executive presence / ability to communicate and influence executive leadership with tact and humility."
