View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/o3SY14 Job Description: We are currently looking to hire an Analyst for our growing New York office. Applicants should be able to work directly with senior bankers and can expect to have significant client interaction, primary responsibility for financial modeling and analysis, industry and company research, development of client presentations, and drafting of materials for internal and external use. Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including M&A transactions, strategic advisory consulting and financing. Some common traits of a candidate are: dedicated, hard working, intellectual, and competitive. More important are the ones that are less typical, particularly in the investment banking and financial advisory industry. These include: • Creative (lateral thinker) • Entrepreneurial • Fun and down to earth • Team-oriented • Genuine passion for all things digital • Willingness to challenge the status quo and be a little disruptive Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics from a top university • An ideal candidate would have 1 to 2 years of experience in investment banking • Experience and strengths in valuation, financial modeling and analysis, business plan and company presentation creation and market and industry research • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Google Docs/Apps • Superior responsibility, attention to detail, commitment, initiative, maturity and creativity in dealing with assignments • Desire to be involved in a fast-paced, high performance work environment and a willingness to work long hours • FINRA Series 7 and 63 certification (current or able to obtain) • Most importantly, we are looking for smart entrepreneurial thinkers who want a more rewarding experience than the typical monolithic investment bank"
