Complete duties of a higher complexity and can act as Team Lead. Provide complete server, PC and lab network support for all designated networks. Design new lab networks and increase capacity/performance on existing networks. Lab test bed setup for new product teams. Inventories of lab network assets. Installs and maintains new routers, switches, hubs, patches, comservers, and terminals, R&D lab backbones. Troubleshoot lab network problems. Configure internetworking equipment interfaces, routing and access lists. Upgrades lab networks with additional processors, interfaces and memory, updates to current OS. Provide lab network capacity planning and design of new networking topologies. Provide feedback on capacity planning and budgeting.
