We are currently seeking an experienced Manager for our Strategy, Planning, & Business Development (SP&BD) department. In this role, you will help plan and manage the Department's initiatives. Essential to your success, will be your ability to manage and participate in the clinical missions of the Medical Center; assisting with organization-wide strategic planning; formulating business and financial plans that maximize current revenue opportunities and conducting analyses on opportunities for new business ventures As a manager, your responsibilities will include providing support to Directors and the Senior Director of Strategy, Planning & Business Development as well as managing & providing coaching to junior staff members on projects. In this role you will utilize your strong business analytic skills to perform analyses of operational and financial performance as well as prepare and analyze data relating to current/proposed operations and strategic planning initiatives. Additionally, as a project lead, you will be responsible for developing project charters and implementation plans, managing against implementation plans, and providing timely updates on project status as well as preparing presentation for--and occasionally delivering presentations to--the Senior Director of SP& BD and/or other senior executives. To qualify, candidates must have graduate degree, preferably in health care administration, business administration, public health, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of project management experience in a business development or consulting role, preferably in a healthcare or research environment. The candidate must have strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, people management, project management, strategic planning, customer service, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred candidates will be action-oriented, with experience managing aggressive deadlines, strong technical proficiencies (e.g., highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)."
