Qualifications: • Resourceful. You will be comfortable working in a start-up environment. We like the can-do attitude, and you will be amazed at how much we can accomplish together. • Strong interest in marketing. Assisting and leading the creation of mini-market campaigns for merchants in the food & beverage, health and beauty industries is a key part of the job. • Interest in sales. Cold calling and visiting merchants is one part of the job. But you will be doing it along with the CEO and an awesome sales team. You will work closely with the team to gather market data and grow our merchant database. • Strong communication skills. If you like to talk and have broad interests, we will get along! And our merchants will love you! • Techie. We are passionate about technology and we hope you do as well. You should know what “facebook” and “twitter” are, and preferably be active users. • Flexible. We are an early stage company and are looking for a smart and energetic intern who can be flexible and a take on a jack-of-all-trades role. We have an awesome engineering team and you will be able to work with them to define product specifications to meet client needs. • Fun. We are a close knit group who believes in a work hard, play hard environment. • Extroverted. Our sales intern will be expected to go on sales pitches with the CEO and willing to talk to small & medium size businesses. • Excel & Powerpoint skills. Prior experience with excel and financial modeling preferred. • Familiarity with C++/HTML/Python/PHP/Django/Ruby helpful but not required. • Current business administration, marketing/advertising, economics, or engineering/science/quantitative majors preferred. • Current undergraduate or graduate school student, or recent college graduate from a top-tier university and currently living in the SF Bay Area. Bottom line, we are looking for a smart, resourceful business intern who shares our passion for consumer internet and loyalty and looking for experience with a very promising early-stage start-up. We will help train you and give you that experience you are looking for.
