Our firm was founded with the mission of providing independent and unbiased investment management services to help you exceed your desired financial goals and objectives. Our vision is to become a leading provider of fee-only investment management services to individual investors through our network of exceptional Portfolio Managers. Portfolio Manager Responsibilities: -Create and implement a marketing campaign to build a sustainable client base to perform investment advisory services; -Educate investors on the benefits of a fee-only investment advisory strategy taking a fiduciary standard; -Aggregate client data to be used in the preparation and implementation of investment portfolios; -Assist clients with completing questionnaires used to determine their investment objectives and risk tolerance; -Analyze questionnaires and prepare investment portfolios suited to the client’s investment goals; -Present the proposed investment portfolio recommendation to the client for review; -Implement investment transactions within the portfolio; -Periodically review client investment objectives and portfolio composition to evaluate suitability; -Conduct investment management tasks, including portfolio rebalancing to maintain target portfolio allocations; -Conduct portfolio performance reviews and field any client questions. Qualifications: Ideal applicants are entrepreneurial, client-oriented and ethical professionals that are passionate about the capital markets and helping their clients reach their investment goals and objectives. Candidates should have a passion for investing in the public capital markets, comfortable with the consultative sales process and preferably hold a graduate level degree in a quantitative field along with several years of institutional grade career experience. All candidates must successfully pass the Series 65, Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination in order to affiliate with United Capital Management or hold a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or, Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC) credential to waive the examination requirement."
