The candidate will execute transactions with the Denver corporate team. This position reports directly to the CEO who loves the opportunity to mentor and drive great young people. He is a painful perfectionist, not about face time but rather around a commitment to total preparation, client results, and professionalism. The candidate needs an extremely strong interpersonal and technical skill set. The job entails extensive interaction with colleagues and clients, financial analysis, preparation of financial projections and valuation analyses; drafting of selling memoranda or private placement memoranda; preparation of new business pitch material; management of client due diligence processes; and preparing management for meetings with investors/buyers. It may also often require significant outgoing calling efforts for transactions or market intelligence gathering. Organization Building. We are a rapidly expanding company. Despite our 10 year history, our business model is new and innovative. We’re seeking an entrepreneurial banker who wants to join our adventure to create a new and different company committed to banker productivity and client results. The candidate will help construct and train our bullpen resources, tackle various company related projects and offer critical input to management. Qualifications: •Excellent academic achievement. High GPA at both the undergraduate and graduate level. We like to work with smart and intellectually curious people. •Relevant experience. Former Analyst or Associate and possibly VP/Director experiences are strictly required. We want people with significant direct investment banking experience at a quality firm. •Personal qualities. We are looking for leaders (athletes, leaders in organizations, etc.) and highly competitive people that have clearly articulated motivations for joining Headwaters MB and desire to live in Denver.
