Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Cognos TM1 Administrator in Boston Meghan Maher posted a job: Cognos TM1 Administrator in Boston "**If interested please contact me directly at (617)951-1894 or meghan.maher@avidtr.com TM1 Administrator - Boston, MA Our client is looking for a consultant for 6 months + to provide daily support and maintenance to their TM1 9.5.1 software environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide administration of TM1 with key focus on routine maintenance, data loads and validation of financial data analysis and troubleshooting. Other duties include development and recommendations of key work products, guidance in evaluating technical proposals and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on development techniques. Responsibilities: • Administer Cognos application support which includes data loads, validation, structural updates and trouble shooting. • Collects and documents business and user requirements including prototyping. • Collaborates with technical teams to identify/understand underlying source data. • Support and enhance process solutions based on knowledge of available systems to satisfy the business requirements. • Oversees the design/development and supports the data models/structures and ETL. • Coordinate with internal/external SMEs for dimensional modelling, OLAP cube development and metadata definition. • Develops and maintains Cognos/TM1 models and reports, configuration and schema objects using various tools including Framework Manager, Query and Report Studio. • Works directly with IBM/Cognos on debugging efforts and resolving trouble tickets. • Performs quality testing prior to UAT and reports progress throughout the project and enhancement life cycle. Required Skills and Experience: • Minimum 2+ years of TM1 administration or development experience. • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. • Strong data analysis skills and working knowledge of financial concepts is required. • Experience developing and supporting enterprise reporting systems such as Cognos/TM1, • Solid understanding of the development lifecycle, including data modelling, dimensional and relational modelling, requirements analysis, ETL, and report creation and delivery. • Experience maintaining software applications and knowledge of Operating Systems, Relational Databases and Networks. • Prior experience with ERP systems (J.D. Edwards preferred). • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related work experience. Tools: • BI Applications: Cognos BI (strong preference, Business Objects. • OLAP: TM1, Microsoft Analysis Services. • ETL: SQL Server Integration Services.
