Bridge your career to the next level, and experience the ultimate employment experience for yourself.   Currently, we are seeking a Junior Decision Support Analyst for a 6-month right-to-hire opportunity with our Conshohocken, PA area customer. Candidates will possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in either a Healthcare or Financial work environment and have proven accounting-related experience. A BS Degree in Accounting or related discipline will be required. Details on this position are as follows.   Candidates will be required to operate, support, and maintain an internal Decision Support System (DSS) on an on-going basis. Additional responsibilities will include:   · Support the analysis of all managed care contracts/negotiations · Assist in the maintenance of Charge Description Masters (CDM) and completion of the annual/across-the-board charge increases · Provide assistance in the completion of the Contractual Allowance summary calculation on a monthly basis for the financial statements · Strive to improve all work-related skills, adhere to all department and corporate policies and act in a professional and courteous manner when representing the Department (internally or externally)   Candidates will support the installation and implementation of a state-of-the-art Decision Support System that will be utilized by our customer. In addition to becoming a prolific user of this new system, candidates will:   · Maintain and review cost accounting processes and reimbursement profiles within the system. Follow established audit and review procedures to insure the accuracy/integrity of all cost and reimbursement data within the system. Check integrated data to original sources where possible · Perform all necessary monthly/quarterly maintenance and processing, and reconcile the data to feeder systems (i.e., General Ledger.) Review the reconciliation and randomly test data as instructed and as necessary in order to assure accuracy · Monitor the collection of statistics so that they are received in a timely fashion, update statistics within the system on a monthly/quarterly basis, and ensure the accuracy of all statistics through an in-depth review procedure · Provide senior personnel with initial payer report and comparison to financial statements · Assist in the completion of written narrative of findings - as directed by senior personnel · Monitor standards/relative value units review schedule informing senior personnel of Departments to be updated   It is not expected that candidates will possess demonstrated Decision Support System experience for this Junior Decision Support Analyst role. However ideal candidates will possess experience with any of the following Decision Support Systems:    TRENDSTAR, EPSI, TSI, or Medassets Alliance McKesson Horizon Performance Manager (preferred) Candidates will possess sound technical expertise in all areas of the MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access, and have general understanding and experience with SQL. Sound analytical and attention to detail skills are necessary.
