Our client is at the forefront of the Wind industry, operating in both on & offshore, developing, constructing and owning over 4,000MW of projects. They are currently looking for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to compliment the existing Onshore Wind team. They are looking for an experienced onshore wind Lead Electrical Design Engineer to assist in the design for onshore wind farm systems. This will see you preparing detailed specifications for the equipment including transformers, switchgear and cables. You will also prepare the functional specifications for the wind farm substations connected to 33KV, 132KV and 400KV networks. As the Lead Electrical Engineer you will also be responsible for managing the technical sub-contractors. To be considered for this role you will need to be educated to a degree level in Electrical Engineering. You will also have experience in a similar role in the wind industry. Candidates will need to travel and therefore should have a current UK driving licence.
