"Looking for an Application Support - SharePoint Admin in Bothell, WA Position: Application Support - SharePoint Location: Bothell, WA Contract: 3+ Months Job Description: Our company is seeking Microsoft SharePoint Systems Engineers to assist in supporting enterprise SharePoint environments, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the portals. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint and other tools within the organization. Candidates must be able to work with very little supervision in a highly charged and fast paced environment. Primary responsibilities: • Install, configure, administer and support SharePoint 2007 and 2010 server farms in high availability production environments. • Coordinate interactions and with technical services staff including: hardware/resource provisioning, patching and maintenance, systems capacity planning and monitoring, network configuration, BCP (Business Continuity Planning) and DR (Disaster Recovery) drills. • Provide SharePoint application consulting and development support to consumer applications as required or available. • Conduct R&D into, proofs-of-concept with, and ongoing certification of Microsoft technology features and releases in support of the enterprise SharePoint Platforms. • Establish and implement best practices and governance of enterprise SharePoint Platform services and operations. • Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call support for enterprise SharePoint Platforms and coordination with enterprise Shared Technical Services Operations. • Maintain 3rd party tools/systems used in conjunction with SharePoint Services Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Requirements/Qualifications: • BS/BA Business, IT or Computer Science or related experience • 5+ years experience with Microsoft products and technologies with an emphasis on Microsoft SharePoint Services (MOSS 2007 & SP 2010) • Deep understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methods • Telecom industry experience is a plus. • Good writing, communications and interpersonal skills. • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment with short timelines • Experience with 3rd party SharePoint tools (Varonis DatAdvantage, Nintex Reporting/Workflows, AvePoint DocAve) Preferred skills: SharePoint Moss 2007, 2010 Varonis Thanks & Regards, Harish Vummidi JMA Information Technology, 913-667-2848 [Direct] | 913-667-2828 X 206 | 866-639-4749 [F] 10551 Barkley St. Suite 400 | Overland Park, KS 66212 harish@jmastaffing.com | www.jma-it.com View my jobs @ http://www.bullhornreach.com/user/42066/jobs http://bull.hn/l/FH5Y/"
