"Role Description The Project Manager (PM) will manage key client projects and be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle to deliver exceptional learning solutions. The PM will provide effective leadership in the development of PulseLearning’s various interactive eLearning products. PulseLearning is looking for an Australian-based individual who has exemplary project management experience and has previously worked with full lifecycle development of eLearning products. Specific Responsibilities • Provide full lifecycle project management of elearning products. • Initiate projects, review client statements of work, and purchase orders to ensure a complete understanding of the client’s requirements are captured and recorded. • Plan project work breakdown structures, schedules, milestones, and budgets while identifying and mitigating risks. • Ensure projects are executed in line with the project plan. • Conduct project team and client status meetings including all key stakeholders. • Manage project scope to encompass any potential adaptation to the client’s needs ensuring profitability is maintained. • Liaise with the client to develop a professional relationship through effective communication and personal skills, and build trust through repeated, timely, and effective delivery. • Initiate and manage all subcontractor engagements. Submit statements of work to subcontractors and monitor subcontractor performance, quality, and deliverables. • Control and monitor projects to track performance to consistently meet deadlines, profitability, metrics, and quality targets while updating risk mitigation strategies. • Close projects to ensure all project information is effectively archived, all invoices are submitted and paid, and any lesson learned from the project are effectively captured. Required Experience and Skills • Demonstrated experience leading eLearning or curriculum development projects with cross-functional teams. • Minimum five years of experience in full lifecycle project management. • Excellent understanding of performance metrics, financial control, and project CPI. • Ability to identify and resolve issues before they adversely affect the relationship with the client or the success of the project. • Ability to work successfully with a global, virtual team spread across multiple time zones. • Ability to document issues, alternatives, and recommendations in an effective manner suitable for executive or client consumption. • Ability to develop client relationships. • Ability to lead, mentor, develop, and manage a team of specialists. • ELearning experience is strongly preferred with the ability to articulate learning terminology and processes with non-training personnel. • PMI PMP or PRINCE 2 certification preferred. • Demonstrated operations experience a strong asset. • Willingness and ability to travel internationally, as required.
