Senior Procurement Expert - Construction Services Based in Vienna The Senior Procurement Expert will provide direct experience in managing the procurement activities associated with the procurement and contracting of construction services. Main tasks/responsibilities: Establish procurement strategies for definition of construction packages in association with the Technical and Project Management Teams; Prepare the contracting plan, assist in the scheduling of the construction contract packages and participate in the preparation and stewardship of controls budgets; In association with Legal, finalize the contractual terms & conditions for construction contracts and purchase orders; Prepare and update the bidders list for construction contracts; Prepares all elements of the tender packages for construction services; Prepare and execute contractual documents in accordance with guidelines and regulations Develop contracting plans ensuring the most economically advantageous selection of contractors in accordance with strategic requirements. Qualification: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a major Oil & Gas company or relevant construction company; Previous pipeline experience- A MUST Significant experience in procurement and contracting at planning and implementation phases; Excellent knowledge of the functions of procurement, expediting, logistics, construction contracts, material control and quality management; Capable of exercising considerable judgment and initiative in setting policy for the planning and implementation of procurement activities; Robust market knowledge of the construction market; Strong presenter with ability to balance numerous factors in setting optimal procurement plans; Relevant university degree strongly preferred, can be substituted for relevant experience and industry qualifications.
