"Job: Manual Grinder in Manchester, CT We are currently looking for an experienced Manual Grinder. Responsibilities: - Accurately grind parts to print specification, keeping within dimensional and finish requirements, while working in a timely manner. - Update MOP. - Break sharp edges when not critical to detail function. - Notify supervisor of department supply shortages. - Keep machines clean and ensure work is organized. - Follow all safety procedures. Experience: - Previous expereince operating manual surface grinders and wet grinders. - ID/OD grinding experience a plus. - Familiar with necessary tooling (magnetic squaring blocks, pin spinners, sine plates). - Hold tolerances of +/- .0002 sqaureness and parallelism on variety of tool steels for components.
