"Job: Configuration Manager in Minnetonka, MN Position: Configuration Manager Location: Minnetonka, MN Duration: 6 month contract to hire Description: This position will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the Enterprise Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) within ServiceNow. The Configuration Program Manager is to plan and define the purpose, scope, objectives, policies and procedures, and the organizational and technical context, for Configuration Management. This position also requires the ability to work in the Enterprise Service Management System (Service Now, BMC Remedy, HP Service Desk, etc.) that aligns with the IT Infrastructure Library and other IT Service Management best practices. Required Skills: High level knowledge of ITIL framework with emphasis on Configuration, Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management Excellent soft skills (i.e. collaboration, influence, communication, etc) Administration of a Configuration Management program Research and evaluate process improvement opportunities, work with IT teams to develop process standards and metrics and assist with implementation and maintenance Design of workflow, process and quality management based on industry standards Writing and presentation of reports, proposals and documentation to different constituents Coordination of development of configuration documentation including training manuals, user manuals, FAQs or online educational materials Supporting the Enterprise Service Management infrastructure, including performance tuning, moderately complex interactive integrations with monitoring tools, and the installation of ServiceNow as needed Develop customized reports Leads and coordinates with Change, Release, Incident, Problem, and in the implementation of ITIL processes Manage risk to production environment by reviewing and coordinating all configuration changes Coordinates with Third party vendors to follow the company’s ITIL processes Basic professional certificates (ITIL Foundations) preferred If interested please contact mstanish@upp.com for more information and how to apply! http://bull.hn/l/O02W/2"
