Directing the activities of team members and/or consultants on single or multiple projects to ensure they provide high quality and cost effective services, designing, developing and/or coordinating approaches to projects, ensuring the strategic direction of projects are in line with business objectives. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of projects. Responsibilities: • Quickly understands business issues and data challenges of organization and industry • Work closely with the business unit and operations team to define, document, develop and deliver solutions • Schedule and facilitate project team meetings • Ensures appropriate documentation is developed and updated on a weekly basis • Facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle • Tracks projects against major milestones and adjust projects as needed • Maintains budget and time metrics for projects taking corrective action, as necessary, to bring any variances back in line with the project plan • Must work within tight deadlines to keep projects on track • Works with business unit to identify required changes and communicates needed changes to project team • Identifies process improvement opportunities and develops recommendations • Identifies obstacles to success and takes independent action to ensure cross-functional issues, risks and dependencies are commonly understood and resolved • Identifies project risks, risk response planning, monitoring and control risks through project completion and escalating unresolved issues and decision to senior management • Tracks key dependencies identified during current state analysis and updates risk profile • Utilize strict change control procedures to manage any project changes when and as they occur Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: • Must have experience successfully managing a project using AGILE OR Waterfall • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong leadership skills; develops, coaches and mentors other team members • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight required • Demonstrates mastery of current tools, techniques and principals of project management (TQM, Six Sigma, PMI, etc.) • Demonstrates knowledge and use of key knowledge areas within the Project Management Institutes Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio and Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel Education and Experience • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated competency in project management • Financial Services experie... http://bull.hn/l/NLPW/"
