Our client, a world renowned consumer goods company in the GTA is seeking a master of global transportation- The age of expertise has begun! The selected candidate will:   Provide outbound transportation support across all brands for internal and external customers, including being the primary point of contact for transportation within the Canadian Operations. Engage with internal stakeholders to establish and build relationships This position is a cross-functional role and will work with Distribution, Manufacturing, Planning, Shipping, Receiving, Customer Service and Finance. Manage the relationships with all carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers used in supporting this business. Negotiates rates, sets standards for utilization, creates routing guides and ensures compliance within all of these areas. Responsible for financial and KPI performance reporting. Responsible for establishing all outbound and inbound across Canada. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.   You will bring: University Degree or equivalent. 8+ years’ experience in International transportation Minimum 3 years proven experience in a Director/Management role. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish goals and objectives Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Visio Knowledge in SAP, ERP and WMS is an asset  Interested in this opportunity?
