Professional and Confidential service you can trust! Job Description: Our client with a Chicago area office needs an Experienced Group Health, with hopefully Ancillary Products, Underwriter. This is an IMMEDIATE need for a Very Experienced Underwriter that has underwritten Groups of 50+ lives. This is a full time position with a salary range of $60,000 - $82,000/year located in Suburban Chicago. Duties/Responsibilities: • Make critical judgments to make reasonable & supportable projections • Do complex data analysis in risk assessment, statistical & trend analysis • Thorough knowledge/understanding of Fully Insured, Self-Funded and Stop Loss Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred • 5+ years Experience in Groups of 50 lives or larger • Requires Insurance Company or Consulting Firm Experience in Underwriting • Any Experience with Rating Ideal • Ability & desire to mentor less experienced Group Health Underwriters • Must be computer literate; have advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills Please contact Godfrey Personnel, Inc. for immediate Confidential consideration and additional skills.
