They are now searching for an enthusiastic and highly passionate Director of Business Development to be based at their Osaka property in Japan. The ideal candidate will be someone with a clear vision who can broaden the client base by bringing in new business as well as managing key accounts and showcase a very pleasing and social personality with excellent communication and Public Relations skills. Key Attributes: • Must have a strong network within Asia with excellent knowledge of Chinese market • Should be having excellent career progression within large corporate hotels, luxury resorts and 5 star establishments with entertainment and gaming facilities • Must have worked in similar capacity (Director of Sales, Director of Business Development, etc.) for at least last 5 years • Must understand the core values of the company • Design and implement a plan to increase sales, revenue, reservations, etc. • Must be very innovative and forward-thinking • Should be very comfortable in working as a part of a multicultural team • Build and maintain a strong Business Development team focused on sales and revenue • Recruit and select a Business Development team • Structure and review a financially sound and accurate Business Plan • Research and produce the Annual Revenue proposal; monitor and update the plan as necessary • Understand and screen market trends, competitor’s activity, and economic influences • Analyze and benchmark performance of competitors • Maintain effective working relationships with all key suppliers • Experience in drafting and managing budgets/revenue proposals; Analysing and forecasting results/market segments and rates • Excellent and fluent command of English, written & spoken • Computer literate • Proficient in accounts management/events management systems • APPLY NOW http://ht.ly/eKsD9 Salary: Up to US$84,000"
