"Now Hiring: Network Administrator in Houston, TX For immediate consideration please send resume to vince.rainey@ugsmail.com Network Administrator This small to medium sized firm is conducting a condfidential search for a seasoned Network Administrator. Are you a "Jack of All Trades"? In this role your systems administration and desktop support expertise will be key. You will be the leader of a two man team responsible for guiding the direction of IT for this orginization. This role will provide you the opportunity to be visible within the orginization and noticable for advancement. Responsibilities: * Manage the technology for a small organization comprised of three (3) separate corporate entities spread across four office locations with data center / co-location IT Operations.  * Set the firm's overall technology standards & practices including business continuity & disaster recovery, budgeting, vendor management, contracting, licensing, and procurement.  * Manage day-to-day IT Operations including virtual & physical computing environments, collocation / data center operations, TCP/IP Gigabit Ethernet, LAN, WAN, DNS (both internal & external), DHCP, Windows Active Directory, data, fax, and voice (PBX) systems for all locations.  * Responsible for the policies, management, and administration of Windows Active Directory (2008/2003 mixed mode) network and associated Microsoft technologies including Windows XP/Vista/7 (32bit & 64bit clients), Exchange (both on-premises & hosted), SharePoint services, and Office 2003/2007/2010. Environment consists of corporate headquarters, a data center, multiple branch offices, and telework/home-based employees utilizing remote access software, on-premise applications, and cloud-based software solutions.
